A few weeks ago I was outside planting my fairy garden and out of the corner of my eye I spotted something glistening under the nearby bush
. Upon more careful examination I discovered what appears to be some fairy bags. Definite proof that the fairies have indeed arrived in my yard!
Below are some of the bags I've found so far, although they assure me that there are more hidden around my yard. They've decided to make a game of with me
and let me discover them a little at a time. In the spirit of the fairy I have decided to make a game of it myself with you. If you would like a chance to win
a special fairy bag all you need to do is sign the guest book telling me what your favorite page is on the website and a brief reason as to why. Be sure and leave your e-mail address
so that I can put you on the mailing list and also if you win, I can e-mail you to get your address to send the fairy bag. There is no purchase necessary. There will be a drawing for each of the seasons.
The first drawing will be on July 31st. After the drawing we will start the process again for the next season and all previous entries will be discarded. It is only necessary to enter once so everyone

Dark Moon Fairy Bag
This is a very mysterious bag indeed. There is no sparkle in the ribbon that is woven through it. The Dark Moon fairy carries it with her through the forest using it to store her supplies for performing dark moon magic. If you look carefully into the dark night of the new moon you may just catch a glimpse of her but you will have to use your third eye because she is normally dressed in either midnight blue or black. When I peaked inside I saw silver and black candles, some incense and a clear quartz crystal!

Beach Fairy Bag

Beach Fairy Bag
It looks like the Beach Fairy tied some small shells to the end of the bag ribbon. No doubt these came from an exotic beach judging by the unusual color of the shell. The ribbon in her bag sparkles and reflects the light as it glistens off the ocean. As you can imagine, she uses her bag to collect seashells and small vials of fresh ocean water to use on her fairy altar when she performs her magic spells. If you are at the beach and look closely at rock formations by the shore, you may just see her. She sometimes catches a ride with the seagulls if she has an especially long way to travel. She wears the colors reflected in her bag because these are her favorites of course!

Love Fairy Bag
The Love Fairy bag I found was pink and a muted purple shade. It made me smile just to look at it. When I looked inside I saw some rose crystals (in heart shapes of course), rhodochrosite stones, rose petals and pink and red candles. The Love Fairy can be found mostly in flower gardens that contain roses because they are her favorite flower. Although roses are her favorites, she can also be found in gardens where there are pink or red flowers. Because she is a rather small fairy she can ride on the back of hummingbirds to get to her various destinations.

The Sky Fairy's bag is speckled with pieces of the night sky. She flies through the air on the backs of doves by day and ravens by night. In her bag are the feathers of the dove and raven along with clear quartz crystals and blue candles of all shades. She uses the feathers on her magical altar to represent the element of air that she identifies with. She changes her clothes to blend in with the bird she is traveling on so one must really look closely at the bird in order to catch a glimpse of her. When flying on her own she is sometimes mistaken for a dragonfly.

The Sparkle Fairy's bag holds glittering fairy dust. She gathers it from the rays of the sun as she flies up towards it on the wings of the white horned owl.She collects it in small crystal vials, along with a few feathers from the owl and gold and silver candles. Because she wears white it is virtually impossible to see her perched on the owl but maybe if you were to put on rainbow sunglasses you will see her nestled deep within his feathers.

The Storm Fairy takes to the sky when summer storms come rolling in. She delights in the sound of thunder and the crackling lightening before her. Her preferred method of travel is on the back of a raven. In her bag she carries large round crystals from the earth to be infused with the power of lightening which the fairies use later for scrying as they are now imbued with special properties that enhance the already powerful fairy magic.

The Fire Fairy rarely leaves the ground. She prefers to make her deliveries using her own wings but if she has to travelfar, she alights upon a firefly and travels by night. She dwells in the forest and can be found around camp fires. If you look closely into the flames of a fire, you may see her reflection but you must be quick when you turn around to see her because she is very fast. She crafts fairy wands which are made from twigs and are lit by the small unfertilized eggs of fireflies. In her bag are the wands that she has crafted.

Clover Fairy
Clover fairies may be spotted as tiny lights, fluttering around the flower-look beyond the flower, not at it, in order to glimpse them. White clover fairies respond most to the full. moon.
Clover can help you to open your psychic insight. Ask the fairy if you may help yourself to her gifts and, if the answer is "yes", pull out the petals of clover and suck the honey within.

Gorse Fairy

creative hunches and follow the whims of your imagination.
IRIS FAIRY

GREEN MAN
The Green Man is usually seen sculpted as a mask made out of leaves. He can be glimpsed wherever there is vegetation. Wherever there is greenery he is present. The Green Man is quintessence of growth. he is very powerful for he is the unstoppable urge of life to perpetuate itself. He is the emissary of Mother Earth. Placing a mask or sculpture of him in your garden would be very beneficial.

LAVENDER FAIRY
The lavender fairy can help clear blockages in the and thus may help you to think more clearly, or to release hurts. The lavender fairy champions the cause of any woman treated cruelly by her partner. Lavender should be carried to maintain the connection to her. The lavender fairy can also help you attune with your psychic powers. If you have a special wish, place a sprig of lavender underneath your pillow and concentrate on your wish as you fall asleep. Perhaps the greatest gift of this fairy is happiness. Those who smile all the time are said to be the longest lived.
